Grossman has thrown six interceptions in the first three games and 26 since the beginning of last season (not counting the postseason). Usually reliable receiver Bernard Berrian dropped a couple of passes that could have helped get the offense started.
"I definitely don't want that," Berrian said of the drops. "One of them was just a lack of concentration, the other I just didn't see the ball. It got caught in the lights.

"Still, there's no excuse. I still have to make the plays."
Veteran receiver Muhsin Muhammad, virtually ignored as a target by Grossman in the first two games, caught two passes Sunday and was the intended receiver on the first of Anthony Henry's two interceptions.
"As I came out of the break, the ball was kind of already over my head," Muhammad said.
"I really didn't have a chance to make a play on that ball."
Controversy continues to swirl regarding Grossman's status as the starter Sunday at Detroit. He has a passer rating of 45.1. Coach Lovie Smith says the decision should become evident Wednesday.
"[Quarterback criticism] comes with the territory," Muhammad said. "[Quarterback] is a tough position to be in. Rex is the guy who handles the ball on every single snap. A lot of the offense's success and non-success sort of falls on his shoulders. It's unfortunate.
"I heard some boos from the crowd and stuff like that. It's just a tough spot to be in."
Muhammad said he would not be shocked to see a change in starting quarterbacks.
"Nothing in this business surprises me," he said. "Right now, I want to take care of my job first. That's the thing I'm going to focus on. Everybody on the offense has to kind of do the same. Each individual person needs to do better. We're all going to be searching for some answers."
